I've been perusing scholarly ...Thanks for this. I've been perusing scholarly peer-reviewed articles on circumcision, and it's frightening how many are blatantly pro-circ and focus on the HIV prevention rate. It's frightening because I know that many people will read a stat like that and not take a moment to critically examine the argument. Many people won't ask themselves, "Is is ethically sound to circumcise boys for a possible 60% reduction in HIV transmission? Why not just use a condom?" I'm horrified that many scientists and doctors are perpetuating this shit and suggesting it as a solution to the African AIDS crisis, etc. -@ApolloForeverBriannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16922160686523810206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2659562638756579161.post-61797544928214727722011-02-07T02:29:40.716-08:002011-02-07T02:29:40.716-08:00Well said Ian, I know we;ve discussed these issues...Well said Ian, I know we;ve discussed these issues before always good to see them in print, your loving wife!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
